Registrations Are Now Open For The Course On “Blockchain And Cryptoassets: Introductory And Practical Aspects”

This Monday (May 12th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) opens registrations for the course on “Blockchain and Cryptoassets: introductory and practical aspects”, which will be held on June 12th and 13th, in person. The training is aimed at judges, civil servers from the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and, to a limited extent, the external public linked to the justice system. With a class load of 16 hours, the course, which is coordinated by Justice Ângela Issa Haonat, aims to enable participants to understand the fundamentals of blockchain technology and cryptoassets, exploring their legal and regulatory implications and their practical use in law and conflict resolution.

The course faculty is made up of: Flavia Valeria Nava Silva, a prosecutor from the State Prosecution of the State of Maranhão, with a career focused on institutional work and the study of the legal impacts of new technologies, especially in the field of cryptoassets and information security.

Vinicius de Negreiros Calado, PhD in Law and professor of the Professional Master's Degree in Law and Innovation (PPGDI) at the Catholic University of the state of Pernambuco (Unicap), working on issues related to technology and digital transformation in the justice system.

Additional information

For this course, daily rates will be paid to magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins who travel to take part in the activity, in accordance with the rules set out in the Resolution 34 of 2015 of the TJTO. Requests must be made via the eGesp system, at least five days before the starting of the trip.
