
On April 11th, the Judicial School of the state of Roraima will hold the course on Health Judicialization and NatJus. The training, dedicated to magistrates, civil servers, trainees, legal professionals and the general public, will be held in distance learning mode, through the Ejurr Virtual Platform.
The course will be taught by instructors Henderson Furst and Jhemenson Santos Ferreira, with the aim of enabling participants to understand the impacts of the judicialization of health, how NatJus works, the case law of the STF and alternatives for improving the relationship between health and justice.

What is NatJus?
Created by the Resolution No. 238 of 2016 of the National Council of Justice, it consists of a support unit made up of health professionals with the aim of providing technical support to magistrates, assisting them in decisions on demands relating to the Right to Health, such as the use of specific medicines, procedures, supplies, nutritional supplements and Orthoses, Prostheses and Special Materials (OPMEs).
About the facilitators
Henderson Furst holds a PhD in Law from PUC-SP. Doctor and Master in Bioethics from São Camilo University Center. Bachelor of Law from Unesp. He is a professor of Bioethics at the Albert Einstein Israelite College of Health Sciences and a collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Law Program at the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT) and the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat).
Jhemenson Santos Ferreira is head of the Management Sector of the NatJus-RR. He holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the Estácio da Amazônia University Center. He is studying for a master's degree in Judicial Provision and Human Rights at ESMAT/UFT.
