Course On “Public Service And Ethics In Public Administration” Begins With A Dynamic And Reflective Approach

With a didactic and interactive approach, the 2025 edition of the course on “Public Service and Ethics in Public Administration”, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), began this Friday (February 28th).

Taught by professor Jefferson Sampaio de Moura, the training aims to prepare civil servers, trainees and employees of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins for a more efficient, empathetic service in line with the principles of public administration.

In this first meeting, Jefferson Sampaio de Moura, who is director of Social Communication and a professor at the Federal Institute of the city of Brasília (IFB), led the class of fifty students in an engaging way, using practical examples and important reflections on the role of the public server in guaranteeing access to the rights of the citizens.

“It's a joy to return to Esmat to offer training in public service and ethics in public administration. In this new class we have members from different parts of the TJTO, increasing the capacity to exchange and share experiences within the court. I'm convinced that the experience will be very enriching,” said Jefferson.

This first class covered fundamental topics, such as equal treatment and impartiality in service, emphasizing that every citizen should be treated with respect and without any kind of discrimination or favoritism.

In addition, the importance of empathy and willingness to inform was discussed, especially considering the literacy level of the Brazilian population. The training continues until March 28th, with weekly meetings held via the Google Meet Platform.
