Civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins (PJTO) have until Wednesday (April 8th) to register projects that will be able to compose the panels of the Meeting on Judicial Integration in Artificial Intelligence - IAJus 2026. The result of the selection is scheduled for April 10th. The meeting will be held on April 24th, at the headquarters of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), in the city of Brasília (DF).

Aimed at members of the Justice System, representatives of courts, experts and technical teams, IAJus 2026 proposes a space for institutional reflection and exchange of experiences. The initiative seeks to strengthen the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the Judiciary, with attention to legal certainty and the guarantee of the rights of the citizens.

The event is focused on promoting integration among the organs of the Judiciary and encouraging the sharing of solutions and best practices related to governance, implementation and sustainability of artificial intelligence in the Brazilian Justice System.

Thematic axes

Projects and tools must be placed in one of the following categories:

  • Screening, classification and support to the procedural archive;
  • Research, factual-legal analysis and support for the judicial decision;
  • Administrative management support;
  • Support for judicial services to the citizen.

Programming

The preliminary schedule foresees the participation of the president of the CNJ, minister Edson Fachin, at the opening of the event. Subsequently, institutional panels will be held focusing on the impacts, risks and regulatory challenges of the use of artificial intelligence in the Judiciary, as well as sharing experiences on the implementation of these solutions in the courts.

In the afternoon, the agenda includes the presentation of initiatives of the CNJ focused on artificial intelligence, with a focus on the launch of Synapses 2.0, of the public call for initiatives by the Conecta (Conect) Program and the second edition of the survey on the use of generative artificial intelligence in the Brazilian Judiciary.

The event will also feature the presentation of selected projects from courts, with solutions already in use, even if partial, and with potential for replication throughout the Judiciary, organized into thematic panels.
