Registrations for the Secure Soil Award, from the National General Internal Affairs of Justice, are open until March 31st. The initiative aims to disseminate and recognize innovative actions, projects or programs regarding the improvement of Urban and Rural Land Regularization (Reurb) and stimulate the performance of the courts in land regularization policy and in monitoring compliance with administrative decisions made by the National General Internal Affairs of Justice on the subject.

The registered projects will be evaluated by a separate judging committee that will prioritize the work based on criteria of: territorial and/or social impact; efficiency and speed; innovation and creativity; progress in the geo referencing of urban and rural areas; articulation with bodies and entities in charge of urban and rural land regularization; and replicability.

The award features nine categories: Court; Magistracy/Judicial Server; Organs of the Justice System; Executive Branch; Legislative Branch; Organized Civil Society; Company; University; and Real Estate Registrars/Representative Associations of Registry Officers.

The winners will be awarded with the seal, given in an official ceremony, which will be held on June 9th, in the plenary session of the National General Internal Affairs of Justice with live broadcast. The Judging Commission may award honorable mention to other meritorious activities that have not been awarded.

Registrations can be made through an electronic form, available on the page of the National General Internal Affairs of Justice.

The Secure Soil Award, established by the Provision No. 145 of the CNJ, 2023, and regulated by the Ordinance No. 13 of the CNJ, 2026, promises, among other goals, to give visibility and promote awareness of members of the Judiciary and society regarding the need to know the relevance of responsible land governance.
