Registrations Are Open For The Fifth Edition Of Enam

The registrations for the fifth edition of the National Judicial Exam (Enam) are open. The exam qualifies bachelors in Law to compete in public contents aimed at entering the magistracy career throughout Brazil. People interested in holding the event must register by 4 p.m. on April 9th, at the site of FGV Conhecimento (Knowledge), the bank organizing the exam.

The application of the test is scheduled for June 7th, in all Brazilian capitals. It will be considered qualified those who settle at least 70% of the issues in the general competition. For self-declared black, indigenous, quilombola or disabled people, the percentage of success must be above 50%. The certificate is valid for two years, which may be extended once for a period of equal duration.

After passing the exam, bachelors will be able to participate in judicial contents promoted by federal regional courts, labor courts, military courts and courts of States and the Federal District and territories.

Required documentation

In order for the registration to be confirmed, it is mandatory to submit a proof of completion of the Law degree, completed at an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education; photo 3x4 of the face in JPEG or JPG format, with guidelines available in the notice; and proof of payment of the registration fee, in the amount of R$ 120.00 (one hundred twenty reais).

In addition, self-declared black people must also send via upload on the page of the candidate, by May 22nd, the proof of acceptance of the assessment issued by the Court of Justice. Indigenous people need to register the Administrative Birth Registry of Indigenous (Rani) and quilombolas, the Self-Recognition Certificate issued by the Palmares Cultural Foundation. In both cases, a declaration of ethnic affiliation signed by recognized leadership of the community will also be accepted. In the case of people with disabilities, it is mandatory to provide a statement proving their condition.
