The Research Group on Theories and Theorists of Political-Legal Thought (TTPPJ), from the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT), published on Monday (March 2nd) the notice of a selection process for admission of new members in the semester 2026.1. The TTPPJ is registered in the Directory of Research Groups of CNPq and it is led by Doctor Professor Rafael Tubone Magdaleno.

The entries are free and individual and they follow until March 9th, exclusively by electronic form. Upon registration, it is necessary to attach proof of registration and school record.

In all, up to 10 new members will be approved, with 7 places reserved for undergraduate students of the Law School and of UFT and 3 places intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Law (from UFT or other institutions), graduates of UFT and interested public in general.

Candidates can apply starting from the second term of their Law degree, or with a superior education in Law or related areas, over 18 years old, and with availability to participate in the monthly in person meetings held on the last Saturday of each month at 11 a.m., at Palmas campus.

The selection will be carried out in two stages, with analysis of the submitted documentation and individual interview, which includes an oral presentation of up to five minutes on a sub-topic related to "Democratic Rule of Law".

The interviews will take place in the week following the closing of the registrations and the invited ones will be contacted by the Coordination via WhatsApp. The result must be disclosed by March 20th, on the official profile of the group on Instagram.

The TTPPJ is dedicated to the understanding on how the political-legal discussion of the 19th and 20th centuries is formed from its historical and linguistic contexts, proposing a critique of the ideology of law and the ways in which it can hide legal practices, both theoretical and operational.
