Final Stretch Of 2025! See What's Still To Come In The Programming Of Esmat

The end of the year is close, but the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) still has a lot to offer. Ten activities are scheduled for the last school days of 2025. More than meeting the provisions of the Annual Training Plan (PAC ESMAT 2025), Esmat exceeded expectations. What began as a planning with 145 activities distributed in 13 thematic axes has materialized in more than 220 training actions, among courses, workshops, seminars and lectures.

December begins, just like the other months, with strength: on days 1 and 2, four trainings take place at the same time. Let’s go to them:

The course on Artificial Intelligence in the Health Area is aimed at civil servers and trainees of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and partner institutions, focusing on the application of AI technologies in public health and multidisciplinary project management. The proposal is to promote automation, productivity and innovation within the Judiciary. The course on Security Incident Response and Risk Management offers a theoretical and practical approach on prevention, detection and response to attacks in physical and digital environments, based on national and international standards.

On the same date, the Training of the GAIA Pilot Project will be held, coordinated by the president of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal. The activity is directed to magistrates and civil servers selected for the pilot project and it seeks to promote the legal, ethical and technical understanding of the use of Artificial Intelligence, in addition to the development of practical skills for use of the GAIA Assistant and GAIA Draft tools in the Eproc System.

Also on the 1st and 2nd, there is the fifth class of the course on Weaponry and Fire Applied to the Protection of Authorities. With a class load of 12 hours, the training will be divided between theoretical classes at the headquarters of Esmat and practical activities at the Shooting Club of the city of Palmas. The objective is to train the participants for the proper and legal use of firearms, focusing on shooting techniques, weapons maintenance and risk reduction in security operations.

Also this week, in the period from the 1st to 5th, there is the Training in Data-Based Judicial Management - Group 2 -, aimed at civil servers and magistrates of the 1st Degree. The course focuses on the preparation and implementation of the Annual Management Plan, as provided for in the Decree 2/2023/ CGJUS and it seeks to develop skills in data analysis and application of management methodologies aligned with the guidelines of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the TJTO, with emphasis on efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement.

In the following days, ESMAT promotes two activities dedicated to the Restorative Justice:

  • December 4th: V Meeting of Restorative Facilitators of the PJTO, aimed at exchanging experiences between professionals working in the area and strengthening institutional networks of restorative practice;
  • December 5th: VI Seminar on Restorative Justice, an event open to the public that will bring together experts to discuss public policies, intervention methodologies and contemporary challenges in the area.

And to close the agenda:

On December 9th and 10th, the course on Accessibility Standards and Application of Assistive Technologies will be held. Already on the 10th, it takes place virtually, from 2pm to 6pm, the course SEI in Practice: Management of Electronic Processes. The training focuses on the strategic use of the Electronic Information System (SEI), promoting more efficiency, organization and transparency in the processing of administrative processes.

And finally, on December 11th, ESMAT promotes the VI Seminar in Commemoration of the International Day of People with Disabilities, celebrating the date with reflections on rights, inclusion and accessibility. Registrations will be available from this Monday, December 1st.
