Academic Papers Are Selected To Be Presented During The Xviii International Congress On Human Rights

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT), through the Post-Graduation Program STRICTO SENSU in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH), disclose this Thursday (November 6th), the list of abstracts approved for presentation during the XVIII International Congress on Human Rights.

The presentations will be held on November 13th, in two shifts: from 9 am to 11:30 am (Group 1) and from 2 pm to 5 pm (Group 2), at the entrance hall of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO).

Important guidelines for the authors 

The papers were divided into two categories:

  • Category I - Scientific Initiation: intended for students of undergraduate courses.
  • Category II - Academic Research: aimed at graduate students (LATO and STRICTO SENSU).

The Organizing Committee will send by e-mail the layout of the panel/BANNER, which must be followed by the authors.

The panels must be posted up to 30 minutes before the beginning of the presentation, according to the corresponding group:

  • Group 1: fixation until 8:30 am.
  • Group 2: fixing between 12 and 2 pm.

It is mandatory the presence of at least one of the authors, duly accredited, during the presentation period, with the panel, to answer the questions of the evaluators and the public.

After the event, the papers presented must be reviewed for structure, grammar and textual cohesion, according to the guidelines of the Commission, and forwarded until November 18th for publication in the Congress Proceedings.

Important: Only the papers submitted and evaluated on November 13th will be published.
