Justice Race Will Gather 1,300 Participants In The City Of Palmas And Promote Accessibility And Inclusion This Sunday (October 26th)

The 7th edition of the Justice Race - Accessibility and Inclusion - will be held this Sunday (October 26th), with a start at 6:30 am, in front of the building of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), at the Girassois Square, in the city of Palmas. The event, promoted by the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins has its registrations closed, after reaching the limit of 1,300 participants.

“The Justice Race is an event that goes beyond sport. The objective is to strengthen a culture of accessibility and inclusion, with the encouragement of healthy lifestyle habits and sports as an instrument of well-being and citizenship", said the manager of the race, Luciene Irene Araújo.

Each registered athlete will receive a KIT, which includes a chest number with CHIP, shirt, visor, pouch and ECOBAG. The withdrawal must be made in person, upon presentation of an official document, at the Paula Rovani Sports store (Aldeia Mall - 203 South, Room 7, Palmas-TO). Delivery will be on Friday (October 24th), from 9am to 8:30pm, and on Saturday (October 25th), from 8am to 5:30pm.

Programming

The programming of the 7th Justice Race will begin at 6am, in front of the TJTO. At 6:20 am, it will start the warm-up and then at 6:30, the preferential start for people with disabilities, wheelchair, then people with general disability and finally the 10 km, 5 km and 3 km walks. The award ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 am.

Award

There will be awards with trophies for the categories of 5 km and 10 km. The five first placed of the general community category and the three first placed of the category on disabled person (PCD) and wheelchair person, both the general community and the internal public.

For the internal public, male and female, the categories will be awarded in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, according to the following categories: 18 to 28 years; 29 to 39 years; 40 to 49 years; 50 to 59 years and over 60 years old.

The 3 km walk will be exclusively participatory, without classification, but all the athletes who complete the route will receive a participation medal.

Place of withdrawal

The kits of the Justice Race can be collected this Friday (October 24th), until 8:30 pm, and on Saturday (October 25th), from 9 am to 5:30 pm, at the Paula Rovani Sports store, located in the Aldeia Mall (NS-01 Avenue, 202 South Block, Rooms 7 and 8 – South Director Plan, in the city of Palmas). It is necessary to present an identification document. Each registered athlete will receive a complete kit, consisting of chest number with chip, shirt, visor, pouch and ecobag.
