TJTO Opens Registrations For The 7th Justice Race In The City Of Palmas

The Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) holds, on October 26th, 2025, the 7th Justice Race for Accessibility and Inclusion. Registrations were opened on Wednesday (September 24th) and they must be made exclusively by link. The event aims to encourage sports practice and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities.

The registrations have a value of R$ 85,00 (eighty-five reais) for the general public and R$ 65,00 (sixty-five reais) for civil servers of the TJTO and partner agencies. The participants will be able to choose among three modalities: 10 km race, 5 km race or 3 km walk.

This year, the route will be different from the previous edition. The start and finish for all categories will be in front of the building of the TJ, at Girassóis Square. The route will be along the LO-02, NS-01, LO-01 Avenues, Theotônio Segurado Avenue until the traffic light of the José Gomes Sobrinho Cultural Space, being a lane for the athletes registered in the 5 km modality and two lanes to the athletes who will run 10 km. The 3 km walk will be a lap in the Girassóis Square.

The programming will start at 6 am, in front of the Court. At 6:20 am, the warm-up will begin and then at 6:30 am, the preferential start for people with disabilities in wheelchairs; then for people with general disability and finally the 10 km, 5 km and 3 km walks. The award ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 am.

Partners

The Justice Race has the partnership of the Public Defender’s Office (DPETO), State Prosecution (MPETO) and Federal Prosecution (MPFTO), BAR Tocantins (OABTO), Regional Electoral Court of the state of Tocantins (TRETO), Federal Court, Regional Labor Court 10th Region (TRT10a) and Palmas City Hall.

Award

All the athletes who complete the routes correctly will receive participation medal. In the 5 km and 10 km races, there will be awards (trophy or special medal) for the five first placed in the general community category; for the three first  placed, category person with disability, general community and internal public; and for the first three placed disabled person with wheelchair, general community and internal public. For these categories there will be no age award. 

For the internal public, male and female, the categories will be awarded in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, according to the following categories: 18 to 28 years; 29 to 39 years; 40 to 49 years; 50 to 59 years and over 60 years old.

The awards of the 5 km and 10 km races will be made with trophies, in the male and female categories. The 3 km walk will have an exclusively participatory character, without classification, but all the registered ones who complete the route will receive a participation medal.

The minimum age for registration in any modality is 18 years old.

Inclusive Race

Athletes aged 60 or over are entitled to a 50% discount on the registration fee. To guarantee the benefit, you must send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., reporting personal data and attaching photo ID.

The withdrawal of the KIT must be made personally by the athlete, upon presentation of document, and it includes chest number with CHIP, shirt, visor, sun visor and eco bag. Registrations will be made directly through the ONLINE system. Athletes with disabilities are entitled to total exemption from the registration fee. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with personal data, identity document and medical report or certificate that proves the condition.

Visually impaired people must also inform the data of the athlete-guide, who will be exempt from the fee, but will not receive the KIT. As in the case of the elderly, that opts for ONLINE registration.
