The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) concluded, on Friday, August 8th, the 1st Maintenance Audit of its Quality Management System, certified by ISO 9001:2015. Conducted by the auditor Sandra Soares Mariano, the process evaluated all strategic sectors of the institution, verifying compliance with the requirements of the standard and internal procedures.
The audit plan included, throughout the day, interviews and analysis of documentary evidence involving: Management System, Direction, Academic Secretariat, Administrative and Technological Supervision, Center for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Nufam), Center for Training and Improvement of Servers (Nucas), Human Resources, Finance, Communication & Publishing Esmat and Library. Aspects such as monitoring and monitoring of goals, institutional indicators, process effectiveness and compliance with statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements were verified.
According to the auditor Sandra Soares Mariano, the work sought not only to identify compliance and possible non-conformity, but also to strengthen the culture of continuous improvement:
“The idea is to go through all the processes to understand how they are being followed and monitored. If there are non-conformities, they are registered and treated within the established deadline. The objective is to ensure adherence to internal requirements and the standard, strengthening educational management", she said.
For the executive director of ESMAT, Ana Beatriz de Oliveira Pretto, the audit represents a strategic moment for the School.
“It is very good to have an external look, with experience and knowledge, to help us reflect on our processes. Often, in the intense work routine, we can not stop to identify improvements. The audit is a rich opportunity to improve practices and ensure excellence", she recalled.
