The second class of the project on Literary Workshops, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) in partnership with the Projects and Contracts Management Division of the Directorate of People Management (Divpgc/Digep), will be dedicated to the debate on the knowledge and experiences of indigenous and quilombola authors.
With the opening of registrations for August 12th (Tuesday), the new class of the Literary Workshops will have as central works the books: Life is not useful, by Ailton Krenak, and The earth gives, the land wants, by Antonio Bispo dos Santos, the Nêgo Bishop.
“The indigenous and quilombola perspectives converge to think a more harmonious society in relation with nature, without exploitation. The idea is that, with the discussion of the works, we can provoke, within the Judiciary, issues such as environmental racism, climate justice, protection of quilombola territories, defense of titling and regularization of these territories, among other matters", said the technical coordinator of the project, Janaina Costa Rodrigues.
In all, there will be four synchronous meetings, always held on Tuesdays, from 7pm to 9pm, via GOOGLE MEET. The mediation will be done by Eugislane Moreira Lima, doctor in Environmental Sciences (UFT) and member of the Karajá – Xambioá people.
