As part of the actions in reference to the International LGBTQIAPN+ Pride Day, celebrated in June, the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the CASSEDIO2G and CGPED Commissions, in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), launched a new episode of the PODer (POwer) of the Voice podcast focusing on the fight against institutional LGBT phobia.
With the theme on "Voices that echo against harassment and discrimination", the episode is led by Maria Clara Rezende, secretary of the Commission for Prevention and Tackling Moral, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination in the 2nd Degree (CASSEDIO2G), and Daniella Lima Negry, member of the Commission for Gender, Race and Diversity (CGPED).
The guest of the time is the social worker Francisco de Assis Neves Neto, specialist in Human Rights, Gender and Sexuality by Fiocruz-RJ and coordinator of the Diversity in Health Program, from the State Health Department of Tocantins.
With fifteen years of experience in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) and acting as an academic preceptor, Neto brings reflections on the impacts of discrimination in the institutional environment and on strategies to strengthen a culture of respect and equity.
