
The president of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), Justice Etelvina Maria Sampaio Felipe, will inaugurate the expansion of the headquarters of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins this Friday (January 31st), reaffirming the commitment of the administration of 2023/2025 to advances in the infrastructure of its units, and consequently, to a better offer of services to the people of the state of Tocantins.
This is the first expansion of the Tocantins River Palace, the headquarter of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins since its inauguration in 1995, and it has undergone a 5,711.11m² expansion project. A vision that benefits everyone, civil servers, judges and citizens.
The project to expand the headquarters of the TJTO is included in the Construction Plan of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins (Target 34). A commitment made and honored by president Etelvina Felipe during her administration, the investment in building infrastructure has improved not only the headquarters of the TJTO, but also the courts in the interior.
The administration delivered new buildings such as the forums in the districts of Colméia, Arapoema and Tocantinópolis, as well as the inauguration of the Central Archive - Annex IV. The Court of the district of Pedro Afonso also benefited from renovation work delivered by the current administration. Another major advance was the construction of the Forum of the district of Gurupi, with 83.26% of the work already completed, according to the Directorate of Infrastructure and Works of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (DINFR/TJTO).
About the construction
Started in 2022 by Coceno North Central Construction Company Ltda., the headquarters of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins went from 11,668.80 m² to 17,379.91m² of total built area. An investment of R$27,825,000.33 (twenty-seven million, eight hundred and twenty-five thousand reais and thirty-three cents).
The project meets the accessibility criteria of the Resolution 230/2016 of the CNJ, obeying the guidelines of accessibility and inclusion, economy in its operations, and sustainability, as it has been done with all the judicial units built or renovated in recent times by the Court of Justice. In addition, the adoption of work areas complies with the Resolution 114 of the CNJ.
